Butterfly Daisy Butterfly Daisy Quilt

Earlier this year Julie Ray finished a quilt for her new baby granddaughter. It was last seen when it was taken from the pusher (stroller) while her daughter was nursing the baby in a shop called Baby On A Budget in Port Kennedy, Western Australia.

The quilt was made from a pattern in Patchwork and Stitching magazine, Volume 5, No. 8, designed by Kerry Thomas. It measures about 77 cm x 116 cm. Julie made the center block a daisy when she didn't have enough fabric for the seventh butterfly. The quilt has a separate label sewn to the back of the quilt in the lower right corner. It was written using permanent pen and reads, "Made with love for Carly Jade by Grandma (Julie Ray) 2006."

Please contact Julie through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
