Full Bloom Extravaganza
Irena Bluhm needs help recovering her quilt, "Full Bloom Extravaganza." It was last seen May 8-10, 2008 at the Home Machine Quilt Show in Salt Lake City, Utah. After the show the quilt was mailed by US Postal Service on May 14, 2008 from the North Ogden, Utah Post Office. The quilt was never delivered and Irena does not have an adequate copy or specific record of the return shipping..
This quilt is 87" by 98". It is raw edge applique on whole cloth with painted surface. The main colors are yellow, red, orange and green on white background. There are four medallions in the main body of the quilt and a center medallion in a form of a diamond. It is an overall floral/feather design. It was hand painted after the quilting was complete using colored pencils and textile medium to set the colors. It has a label with the quilt's name and Irene's name.
