Let There Be Chocolate Let There Be Chocolate

Lizzie B Cre8ive is hoping to recover her quilt, "Let There Be Chocolate," which was misdelivered by FedEx. It had been at a trunk show at a Texas quilt shop. Then the quilt was shipped to the pattern designer's studio in Tucson, Arizona on July 7, 2007. FedEx shows that it was delivered and signed for at the studio, but the signature obtained by FedEx was "forged" with the name of the company, not a person's name. Lizzie suspects that it was misdelivered, but the package did have the correct address on it.

This 55" by 65" quilt consists of applique blocks depicting chocolate for every day of the week. The main colors are chocolate browns, ecrus, and soft, "ice cream parlor" colors. It has a brown, wavy border. The quilt includes embroidered words, some ribbon, and some beaded embellishments. Lizzie believes she signed the quilt directly on the backing, along with the date 2006.
