Pam Holland's Stolen Quilts
On June 4, 2003 Pam Holland had three quilts stolen from her baggage while she traveled from Los Angeles, California to Minnesota on Northwest Airlines. Pam is from Aldgate, South Australia. Please be on the look out for these wall hangings which are all original designs. Pam teaches the Drapplique© method of applique.

Birds Have Left The Nest is 26" by 26". It has a cream background with burgundy borders. It is machine pieced, machine appliqued and machine quilted using her Drapplique method. She made this quilt in 2003 and it has a label fused to the lower back, right hand side. The label says, "Pam Holland, designer and quiltmaker...made as a sample to show applique, drapplique and machine quilting."

Simply Amish is 36" by 24" and was made in 2002. The main colors are blues and dark earth tones. It is machine pieced, machine appliqued and machine quilted. Pam used Drapplique and machine embellishments on this class sample. It has a label fused to the lower right side of the back.

The Prague Quilt, made in 2002, is about 24" by 20" It has a forest green border. The buildings are dusty pink. The fabrics are Cherrywood fabrics. It is 100% cotton, including the backing and batting. The label is fused and stitched to the back and includes care instructions and identifies Pam as the maker and designer. It is machine appliqued and machine quilted. She used this quilt as a sample of how to design a landscape quilt with Drapplique.
