Pieced Teacups
Katie Winchelle would like to recover a Pieced Teacups quilt that she made for her mother. It was a birthday gift for her 89th birthday. She kept it on her bed wherever she went, from home, to assisted living, to hospital, to the nursing home where she died. That's when the quilt disappeared. The nursing home was notified the same day, but they could find no trace of it. It was on her bed because it was the one thing that made it feel like her home.
This twin size quilt is mainly pink and blue. The blocks are foundation pieced teacups. There is a label on the back which says, "Made by Katie Winchell for Eunice Cox, 2002." The quilt was last seen in February 2005 at Laurels of Greentree Ridge Nursing Home.
Please notify Katie through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page if you see this quilt.
