Sometimes the Fish Wins Sometimes the Fish Wins

Giselle Ladouceur-Borowicz needs your help recovering her original quilt, "Sometimes the Fish Wins." It was last seen in her home in Niagara Falls, New York around 1998 or 1999.

This circular quilt is 28" diameter. It is made from recycled men's neckties and mounted on a flying saucer (snow sled), so it is slightly domed when hung against the wall. It toured New York state in 1996 as part of a Cornell Cooperative Extension Earth Day Project. The main colors are greens, blues, pink, whites and gold. It is machine pieced, machine appliqued and machine quilted. There is a machine embroidered label on the back.

If you have seen this quilt, please contact Giselle at volfie@ccrtc.com.
