Wool Patches

Jill Waddell and her husband are hoping to recover a coverlet made by his grandmother. Their son brought it to King College in Bristol, Tennessee for his freshman year, 1995-1996. Someone borrowed it and never returned it.

The twin size quilt is made of wool squares from men's suits: mostly browns, navys, and tweeds. It is hand pieced and tied. The coverlet was made in 1940.

If you have any information about this quilt, please contact Jill Waddell at jill@covenantescrow.com.
